The Chanute Public Library is now offering After Hours Locker Pickup for our patrons! Thanks to the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 grant in partnership with the State Library of Kansas and the Institute of Museum and Library Services, patrons can now place holds on library items and arrange for them to be picked up in the outside lockers. This is to better serve patrons in our community who may be unable to pick up library materials in-person or during our normal library hours.
How does it work?
- Place holds normally (online at seknfind.org or by calling 620-431-3820)
- After holds are confirmed, call the main circulation desk at 620-431-3820, during business hours to request locker pickup. You will be told a locker number, assigned a code (usually the last 4 digits of your primary phone number) and given an estimate on when you order will be ready.
- Come to your assigned locker, enter your code, and pick up your items. Enjoy!
