The Chanute Public Library is happy to present new reading challenge opportunities for students of all ages and grade levels! Students will receive a folder to log their books read once they sign up for a challenge at the library. Each student will receive a prize once a grade level has been completed.
All books must be checked out from the Chanute Public Library or on the Hoopla app. Audiobooks books do count at all grade levels. Books may only be logged once. Each year, graphic novels may only account for 50% or less of the total required amount of books for the year. Students may read ahead if they wish, but the rules still apply to the specified grade level.
If your student is currently in elementary school, check out our rules for those students here.
