Over the course of three weeks, our Tech55+ course met at Neosho County Community College’s Chapman Learning Center to learn about and discuss various tech topics ranging from computer basics, social media options, digital legacy planning, phishing, and Artificial Intelligence.
With the help of a Southeast Kansas Library System Digital Navigator to guide their learning, participants came away with new knowledge and tools to understand our digital age, including some incredible online resources to continue learning on their own.
Here’s what some of our “students” had to say:
“It was great!… It took some of the ‘fear’ out of tech!”
“It made me appreciate AI.”
“[There was] a lot of different info I would not have known about.”
“Wonderful to know all the different resources we have through our library, and very friendly and helpful people to answer questions, etc.”
If you’d like to see more classes like this, let your (favorite) local librarians know!
