The Chanute Public Library is happy to present new reading challenge opportunities for students of all ages and grade levels! Much, like our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, students will receive a folder to log their books read once they sign up for a challenge at the library. Each student will receive a prize once a grade level has been completed.
Rules
All books must be checked out from the Chanute Public Library or on the Hoopla app. Audiobooks books do count at all grade levels. Books may only be logged once. Each year, graphic novels may only account for 50% or less of the total required amount of books for the year. Students may read ahead if they wish, but the rules still apply to the specified grade level (for example, if a third grade student wanted to proceed to their fourth grade challenge, they cannot read any Easy books).
