Join us for Birds of Prey, Watercolor class for 3rd-5th graders, Books at the Beach, and Planting Party!

  • Monday, June 13th @ 10 am – Drones: Come for a high-flying experience with drones! Ages 10 and up. Located outside behind the depot. Bad weather will cancel with no reschedule date.
  • Every Tuesday @ 10 am – Story Time: Join us for our outside storytime! Listen to stories about the ocean and the animals that live there, sing songs, and do fingerplays!
  • Tuesday, June 14th @ 2 pm – Birds of Prey: Presented by Pittsburg State University, come see these powerful hunters of the sky! Children will be amazed as they get a close look at these live predators, learn about their importance and why many are endangered.
  • Wednesday, June 15th @ 2 pm – Glenda Bruner, Watercolor Class, 3rd-5th Grades: Come and learn how to paint with water colors with retired CES art teacher, Glenda Bruner! This session is for children entering 3rd-5th grades in the fall. Participants must be pre-registered. Registration starts May 31st and ends June 13th.
  • Thursday, June 16th @ 10 am – Books at the Beach: We’re bringing the beach to the library! Join us for a special beach-theme story time and be sure to wear your best beach outfit!
  • Every Thursday @ 2 pm – Kids Crafts: Come and make cute ocean crafts with us! All ages. Come and go. Leftover craft packets will be available Friday afternoon.
  • Friday, June 17th @ 10 am – Planting Party: Get your green thumb on at our planting party! Children will receive two cups to decorate and choose which seeds to plant and watch grow over the summer. All ages. Located outside behind Depot.
